Recently, McDonald's who world wide prides itself on diversity, hosted a Multi-Cultural Fair so customers could explore the many different cultures we have in Ketchikan. During the event various culture artwork, clothing, photos and other things that represented Ketchikan's cultural diversity were displayed in a booth like atmosphere. Handmade crafts, artwork and food of different cultures were also sold. A fashion show of traditional clothing worn by the Alaskan Native Cultures was well received by the audience. Multi-Cultural Dance performances were spread throughout the entire event and featured Alaskan Native, Filipino Folk Dancers, and Mexican Ballet Folklorico dancers.
